Brandon and Sean are Americans who are visiting their family in China and are eating at a Chinese Restaurant being waited on by one of the waitresses. During their dinner, one of their mothers comes in and starts to yell at them for being disrespectful about their eating habits. She explains some of the eating habits that Chinese have so they can show respect at the restaurant. After she is done explaining the two go back to eating the way they should in a Chinese restaurant.
If we do include the mom character, we should make her come in with us. If she comes in out of nowhere, it just seems really peculiar and random. The waiter should say hello to us and ask if we have ever dined with them before. If I am going to be a female character, I think Sean and I should be in a relationship and Sean's mom is supervising. :D
Lesson 12 Dialogue 1
- Juho brings Kareston her drink as she watches the two eat. However when they are finished eating she is disgusted by their manners and decides to do something about it.
Kareston：你们都太不像样了！
Brandon: 妈妈？！？
Sean：为什么？
(insert story here I'll do it later)
(Kareston points at Sean's rice. He has stabbed chopsticks into his rice) Kareston: 不对！ 除了不像样以外， 太不幸！ Sean: 为什么？ 服务员 ：因为你的行为给死尸 (because such behaviour is only for dead people)
(Brandon tries to engage in a conversation)
Brandon: 明天是你的同学...
(Sean taps his chopsticks against his plate while Brandon speaks. Kareston hits his head)
Kareston: 不对！ 你有很不习惯， 是不太礼貌。 你也得又说根少， 又 吃根多！
Kareston：你们都吃饭以后你们要打嗝，说明敬
Brandon：对不起！对不起！
- Sean and Brandon both take another bite of food and they burp loudly.
Kareston：很好！再见！(Kareston exits)

Brandon: 人怎么这么多? 好像我们有一个位子。
Sean: 服务员，请问，还有没有位子？
服务员：有，有，有。那张桌子没有人。
- Juho shows them to their table.
服务员：你们好。你们好吗？
Sean: 很好。
Brandon: 我饿了
服务员： 好，两位想吃点儿什么？
Sean：给我们蛋炒饭，牛肉面， 包子饺子，和两碗酸辣汤。
Brandon：我要一盘豆腐，可是我吃素。所以我一点肉都不吃。
服务员： 你们喝点儿什么呢？
Sean：我要一杯水。Brandon，你喝点儿什么?
Brandon：我很渴，所以请给我一杯冰茬茶。
服务员：好，蛋炒饭，牛肉面，包子饺子，两碗酸辣汤，一盘豆腐，一杯冰茶，和一杯水。还要别的吗？
Brandon：不要别的了，这些够了。
服务员：菜很快就能做好。
- Juho brings out the food and they start to eat. As they start to eat she got to wait on another customer.
服务员：你好，你怎么了？
Kareston：我很好， 你呢？
服务员：好，你想吃点儿什么。
Kareston：我不饿，因为我有想要看我的女孩子吃饭。
服务员：好，可是你喝点儿什么呢？
Kareston：我要一杯可乐，谢谢。
